Read MoreElevated Lens Photography uses a 65 foot tall telescoping mast with a high resolution camera system to capture dramatic low-altitude aerial views of properties and job sites from above. The low-altitude perspective we obtain does a great job of adding three-dimensionality to our photographs in a way not possible with either ground level or more expensive aerial photography methods. Our mast is vehicle mounted and can be set up in a matter of minutes once we get to your site. The mast height is pneumatically controlled so the camera can be positioned at any height from 13 feet to 65 feet above the ground. The camera is mounted in a 3-axis remotely controlled head which allows the camera to pan 360 degrees, tilt from about 70 degrees below the horizon to about 20 degrees above the horizon, and rotate the camera from landscape to portrait orientation. All adjustments, including camera settings, are controlled via a wireless network from a laptop computer on the ground. A live view from the camera is fed to the computer monitor so we can carefully compose our shots.
Real Estate Photography
Elevated Lens Photography can provide stunning exterior views using the telescoping mast. It's amazing to see the difference between a ground level shot and one shot from as little as 13 feet in the air. Our mast can put the camera as high as 65 feet to capture beautiful backgrounds and surroundings. Elevating the camera enhances building and roof lines and is the best way to show off that exquisite landscaping.
The following advice is from "Realtor's Guide to Using Photos in Real Estate Marketing", found on PhotographyForRealEstate.net
[Photographs are a central component of marketing a property. The primary function that photos perform is to get prospective buyers to come look at the property.
In today’s market where 87% or more home buyers start their home search online, a little thumbnail of the front of the property becomes the first reason buyers choose to look at more photos of your listing over the 20 others at the same price and location.
But there are even more compelling reasons for having for using great photography to present your listing:
-Your home seller client will be pleased how you are presenting their property.
-It’s a well established fact that great photos and marketing materials are a way to get more listings.
-Neighbors of the listing property watch carefully how a property is marketed. If they like what the see, they will ask you to list their property.
-If you are competing for a listing, the commitment of professionally done photography and marketing materials can help you win the listing.
The primary exterior shot is THE most important photo. Spend extra time, money and effort to get a “knock-out” front photo because this is the photo that will be seen most and first by prospective home buyers. Online thumbnails of this photo must entice the buyer to look closer at the property. Many homes benefit from an elevated front shot where the camera is 10’ to 20’ above the street level. We can use multiple mast setups around your construction site to provide high resolution photos that will show what's happening on your project. We can set up a schedule to shoot your project weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or however often you want.
We use multiple lenses to obtain ultra wide angle views or zoom in to show minute detail. Our camera mount pans and tilts, allowing us to take overlapping photos that we can later "stitch" together into seamless panoramas.
We geotag our photos so they can be linked to Google Maps and design software. The raw files from our camera include an embedded authentication stamp which can be used to show the image has not been altered in any way, an important factor in case the photos are needed for any legal proceedings.
